Martin McDonagh's upcoming feature Wild Horse Nine is among the recipients of the Utah Film Commission's state incentives.

The Utah Film Commission announced the Utah Board of Tourism Development approval of five productions for state film incentives, generating an estimated economic impact of $12.6 million and over 400 new jobs filming in Grand, Salt Lake, San Juan, Summit, and Wasatch counties.

In addition to McDonagh's thriller — produced by Blueprint Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, and Film4 starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Parker Posey, Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Waits — (Saint) Peter from Josh Klausner, whose credits include co-writer of 20th Century Studios' Date Night, was also approved for a Utah Motion Picture Incentive.

Two Hallmark productions from local Producer David Wulf were also approved for incentives — Christmas on Duty, directed by Jake Van Wagoner and Home Turf, directed by Maclain Nelson.

Recieving the Rural Utah Film Incentive is Zeus a new action-adventure film from producer Eric McLeod of The Lone Ranger.

The state incentive program offers a fully refundable tax credit of up to 25% on in-state spend.
