Sugar Rush Pictures' Andrea Bucko launches dev fund, prodco Raised By Wolves

Bucko co-founds with Jordan Claire Robbins, and Raised by Wolves has already invested in several films including Alpha Gang starring Cate Blanchett.

Andrea Bucko, the producer behind Longlegs and Oh, Canada and Jordan Claire Robbins of The Umbrella Academy and Supernatural have launched a new development fund, finance company, and production banner Raised by Wolves.

Raised by Wolves will primarily focus on film, television, and entertainment projects that "challenge norms, push boundaries, and dive into raw, untold narratives" and is "dedicated to amplifying voices, supporting filmmakers, and participating in projects that resonate with strength, rebellion, and resilience."

The company is backed by private investments from various family offices.

Raised by Wolves has already invested in several films including Alpha Gang, written and directed by the Zellner Brothers and starring Cate Blanchett, Channing Tatum, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Zoë Kravitz, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough; Dito Montiel’s Captivated starring Al Pacino and Katie Holmes; and Gus Van Sant’s Dead Man's Wire starring Bill Skarsgård, Dacre Montgomery, Al Pacino, and Colman Domingo, which recently wrapped principal photography.

Producer Nini Le Huynh, behind House of Cards and The Dark of Knight will serve as creative executive for the company.

In addition to the films in which Raised by Wolves has already invested in, the company currently has three upcoming development deals.
