BBC, ZDF enter scripted high-end series development partnership

UK's BBC and Germany's ZDF have entered into a scripted development partnership.

The two public service broadcasters have already partnered on the recently announced Honey and series two of A Good Girl's Guide To Murder from Netflix and made by Moonage Pictures.

The collaboration combines ZDF's pan European co-production experience with the BBC's history, and will provide production companies with the opportunity to easily work with two major European broadcasters.

Nadine Bilke, chief content officer at ZDF said that working on the two series already commissioned "increases our appeal to younger audiences and enriches our content with a European perspective."
